December 2006 - 2FA joins Liberty Alliance - “2FA Technology is delighted to become a sponsor member within Liberty Alliance. 2FA is deeply focused on simplifying architecture, procurement, deployment, and end-user usability for strong authentication. The creation of a Strong Authentication Expert Group (SAEG) within Liberty clearly places the Consortium at the forefront of strong authentication strategy and processes faced by consumers, governments and businesses. Their ability to unite the technical community while listening to the needs of user communities is essential to the eventual proliferation of the various strong authentication technologies. 2FA looks forward to contributing to the development of architecture and processes within Liberty that truly simplify all aspects of the strong authentication lifecycle.”

November 2006 - 2FA joins OATH. Continuing it's efforts to raise awareness of industry needs for open authentication and to facilitate information exchanges between end user corporations and the technical community, 2FA joins OATH as a Contributing Member.

October 2006 - 2FA selected as a finalist at the Smart Card Alliance's first annual Technology Showcase. 2FA Technology would like to personally thank Mr. Randy Vanerhoof and Smart Card Alliance members for selecting 2FA as a finalist at this outstanding event. It was our honor to present our emerging technology in such esteemed company.

September 2006 - 2FA joins Smart Card Alliance. In an effort to expand it's industry-wide evangelism of simplifying strong authentication end-to-end processes, 2FA is joins the SCA as a General Member.

August 1, 2006 - 2FA Technology launches Credential Manager 2007. Designed from the ground up on ASP .Net 2.0, CM 2007 is optimized for Microsoft CLM and to unite multiple authentication methods under one easy to use management console.

August 17, 2006 - 2FA Technology acquires Allied Logistic Solutions (ALS), a Houston based logistics company specializing in the global delivery of strong authentication devices and specialty kitting operations.

In an effort to broaden its global operational reach, 2FA Technology acquired ALS on August 15, 2006. The acquisition of ALS significantly increases 2FA's global deployment capabilities. ALS held several major global contracts for strong authentication deployments and specialty kitting operations.  Prior to the acquisition ALS had assisted in the deployment of more than 1,000,000 strong authentication devices.  

2FA aims to integrate ALS into its newly created Small Business. Simplified. solution and simplify the delivery process for their ongoing distribution of strong authentication devices to their partners and customers.

Kevin Wagner, President and CEO or 2FA Technology remarked, "The ability to effectively and securely deploy strong authentication devices to end-users is a key success factor in strong authentication deployment. The acquisition of ALS will allow us to provide exceptional deployment services to our customers".

August 28, 2006 - 2FA Technology launches "The 2FA Store". Aimed at serving our partners and customers. The 2FA Store will provide best of breed strong authentication devices online, simplifying procurement processes.
