2FA Credential Manager is a next-generation solution that simplifies deployment of strong authentication, managing and automating the lifecycle of strong authentication user credentials including smart cards, certificates, biometrics, and proximity cards. Seamless integration with your single sign-on and identity management systems provides administrators with a single point of control for all authentication devices, user ID's, and passwords.

Built on Microsoft® .Net 2.0, 2FA CM is the first credential management solution to leverage your native Microsoft infrastructure for both user authentication and central administration via Active Directory. Although 2FA CM supports multiple public key infrastructures (PKIs), it can be fully operational without one — eliminating the expense of purchasing a PKI.

Unlike a conventional card management system (CMS), which typically manages credentials only on smart cards from the CMS manufacturer, 2FA CM lets you centrally administer user credentials stored on a wide range of authentication devices from multiple vendors. Federal agencies can use CM to streamline issuance and management of secure forms of identification for HSPD-12 and CAC compliance.

The 2FA CM SDK contains an extensible developer API for easily customizing Credential Manager. Credential Manager’s multi-factor validation service is callable from any external authentication request or application. Utilizing the API Credential Manager can easily be integrated into most workflow engines available in the marketplace today.

2FA "x Management System" Migration Tool

The 2FA Migration Tool was specifically designed to provide customers who have deployed first generation "x Management Systems" and no longer are receiving the desired benefit from those systems and/or vendors. x Management Systems are those systems specifically designed for one authentication method, such as a smart card or One-Time Password token. The tool provides the ability to extract user data specific to the x Management System and map it to those utilized by 2FA CM. The Migration tool is an excellent solution for customers who are trapped in proprietary x Management Systems from ActivIdentity, RSA or Schlumberger.
