Established in May 2006, 2FA is an Austin, Texas based security software company committed to delivering secure authentication solutions that simplify deployment and operational processes; thereby enhancing the end-users' experience. 2FA prides itself as a "strong authentication hedgehog."

The management team founded 2FA with the vision of simplifying strong authentication technology and processes. After prior experience in developing similar technology, they realized that there must be an easier and more streamlined process for managing the lifecycle of strong authentication devices and digital credentials.  Far too often were strong authentication projects being prolonged or terminated due to complex integration, cost overruns, technology shortcomings or other failures. Moreover, if the projects were completed, few were declared a “success”. Customers quickly discovered they were locked into a single strong authentication technology or technology vendor.

To overcome these historic challenges 2FA designed a new suite of products from the ground up. The combined experience in this field of technology significantly enhanced 2FA’s ability to identify shortcomings and make significant enhancements in the technology.
